If you are a fan of Doctor Who, you will likely recall the cracks created by the Silence — the first crack seen on the show having been in young Amelia Pond’s bedroom wall. The same goes for fans of Torchwood and the space-time rift near Torchwood Three’s headquarters in Cardiff.
Well, Class has a portal of its own — one that we finally get to see in action in a teaser trailer posted by the official BBC Three Twitter account.
Behold the footage below, in all its spooky glory:
The fact that this ten second teaser is silent somehow makes it all the more ominous. The footage shows a rift cracking open in a hallway of Coal Hill School, revealing an unknown world ablaze. This is most likely the same crack that can be seen in a recent promo shot, as seen below.

We can also see the rift echoed in the logo that was recently released for the show.

In the video, a shadowy figure is seen flying through the rift. This is presumably the Shadow that has previously been mentioned in an official synopsis. Could this be the threat at which April (Sophie Hopkins) is aiming a gun, as seen in the following screen cap?

Another interesting thing about the trailer is that the text, which looks like a tweet, is part of the video. It reads, “Fear is coming. Tragedy is coming. War is coming. #Class is coming.” As the footage progresses, the image bleeds into the block of text at the top.
