Speculation: Where will Daenerys’ fleet land in Game of Thrones Season 7?

1. Dragonstone
Although we haven’t seen Dragonstone since Season 4, when Stannis abandoned the island fortress to sail north for the Wall, it’s the most likely landing spot for Daenerys as she begins her invasion of Westeros.
For one thing, the spot has a lot of metaphorical value. Dragonstone was the original seat of House Targaryen before Aegon the Conqueror stormed the mainland, and stood as the farthest western outpost of the great Valyrian empire. It was here that Daenerys was born, her mother having fled King’s Landing when it appeared that Robert Baratheon might sack the city. If Daenerys returned there and made it her base of operations in Westeros, it would be a powerful full-circle moment.
Strategically, there are few better options than Dragonstone. It lies at the mouth of Blackwater Bay, a stone’s throw from King’s Landing, and as far as we know remains undefended. Daenerys could land here and use her armada to seal off the city by sea while the Tyrells and the Sand Snakes surround it on land. And should anything go wrong, Deanerys could fall back to Dragonstone as Stannis did to lick her wounds.
In Season 7, we’re looking forward to seeing Daenerys reclaim the Iron Throne and restore her family name to glory, and we’re betting it all starts on Dragonstone.
