Emilia Clarke Celebrates Her 30th birthday with Bob, Dora, and Spoilers

Spongebob that is. On location in Spain filming, the seventh season of Game of Thrones, everyone’s favorite dragon mother Emilia Clarke celebrated her 30th birthday with quite the unusual companions. The actress posted a photo of herself on Instagram with a Hodor-sized Dora the Explorer and a Franken-Mountain sized Spongebob Squarepants. Clarke’s caption makes us believe there might be more to the photo than just a couple Nickelodeon character, though.

Clarke first poked fun at rabid Game of Thrones fans worldwide, teasing that the post contained spoilers. Her insinuation that Daenerys is the mother of Jon Snow (rather than his aunt) is amusing, but we know to be untrue.  But who might be hiding under the overly large costumes? Clarke hints at the identities of the men in the suits, and it might be a little surprising. Clarke’s comment about her post containing “show runners” implies that under the suits are no less than D.B. Weiss and David Benioff. Although hard to confirm, the relative heights do appear to match, and if true that’s certainly a rather powerful pair of party entertainers.

But could it be someone else under those costumes? Go no further if though wish to remain unspoiled.

Clarke’s tag about her post containing both showrunners and spoilers might indeed be correct. Recent set photos have placed Kit Harington and Liam Cunningham on the same set as Clarke, as they film scenes in Spain. Meaning one of the men under the suit could be either Benioff or Weiss, and the other could be Harington or Cunnigham. Sure the height might not match up at first glance for Harington, but anyone could be concealed under those suits. Producers are notorious for playing pranks on spoiler thirsty fans, even going so far as to put a White Walker in King’s Landing during filming for Season 6. Either way, we wish Emilia Clarke a very happy 30th birthday!
