Doctor Who: Two Doctor Who’s The Boss? Fan Videos

Two fans made amusing videos that parody Doctor Who and Who’s the Boss?, resulting in Doctor Who’s the Boss?

More from Winter is Coming

Doctor Who is just as much about the development of the Doctor’s companions as it is about his own. He is at his best when he has a strong companion who stands up to him, challenging him to do the right thing. Such individuals have been known to be controversial amongst the fanbase, but are nonetheless vitally important to the program.

To honor this, there are not one, but two fan made videos that each parody Who’s the Boss? by playing the song from its opening credits over a montage of clips from Doctor Who. The first is by SpiffyMarc and features the Eleventh Doctor and Clara Oswald. The second is by Doug Ellis and features the Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble.

Who’s the Boss? was a standard American sitcom that ran from September 20, 1984 to April 25, 1992. I have to admit that it was one of my favorite programs as a child.
