In new Doctor Who Series Ten set photos, Pearl Mackie is seen playing new companion, Bill, with an actor dressed as a knight… at night.

Since Series Ten of Doctor Who began filming, there have been a lot of behind-the-scenes photos and videos made available for our viewing pleasure. Naturally many of these have featured Pearl Mackie, who is playing the Doctor’s newest companion, Bill. There was a particular large set of images released back in June.

Just today, new photos of a night shoot in the woods of Cardiff were published by Dan Cain of Daily Mail Online. In these images, Mackie can be seen in sporty, striped top which is stained with dirt. Between filming, she wore a warm coat on the chilly November night. In the scene with her is another actor dressed as a knight in armor, which makes us wonder if that character’s name is Ted. We did some sleuthing, but were unable to learn the identity of the actor.

The title and number of the episode — as well as its plot — that correspond to this shoot are yet to be determined. Whatever the case, it is likely to be most triumphant.
