The Game of Thrones production is in the middle of filming a massive battle for Season 7. New pics have emerged from Los Barruecos, where the show will be for weeks yet.
Warning: SPOILERS beyond this point.
Like the ones we reported on yesterday, these pics are from filming on Monday, when the show was marshaling extras en masse. These new photos, from HahPhi, give us a closer look at the many armies involved in this scene. Here’s the Lannister army, assembled in all its might.

This next picture is intriguing: the Lannister army marches along, with two men on horses at the head of the column.

HaiPaiIt’s hard to be sure from this distance, but the man on the white horse looks like James Faulkner (Randyll Tarly)—notice the bald head. At any rate, it’s not Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime) or Jerome Flynn (Bronn), who are also on the scene. Is that Tom Hopper (Dickon Tarly) riding next to him? And if it is, why are they riding at the head of a group of Lannister soldiers? Might the Tarlys have flipped?
Finally, here’s a pic of some Dothraki, mounted as always.
If you’ve remained unspoiled thus far, this battle will between a Lannister army led by Jaime on one side and a Dothraki army led by Daenerys on the other. The Lannister will raid Highgarden. Then, on the way back, Daenerys will ambush them. The Tarlys will also figure in.
And a rainbow shone over all. How pleasant.

HaiPaiOutside of Spain, cast members are spread out. For example, Sophie Turner (Sansa) was seen yesterday in Belfast, where the show films a lot of its studio material.
Meanwhile, Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran) popped up in nearby Dublin. Day trip?
And Lena Headey (Cersei) and Indira Varma (Ellaria Sand) attended at event for the International Rescue Committee in London.
