30. Brandon Stark

The cool thing about child actors is we get to see them grow up before our eyes. We not only got to see Isaac Hempstead-Wright grow up, but Brandon Stark as well. His story is one that’s taken us on a journey to save the world.

Bran started out as a tiny little lord with an affinity for climbing the tall towers of Winterfell. By the end of Season 6, he’s a mystical being in possession of the keys to unlocking the secrets of the Known World. In between, he showed a flair for diplomacy, a skill he inherited from his father. Bran not only solves a rabbit-skinning dispute between Osha and Meera, he also sends his younger brother Rickon away for the good of his mission. Not an easy decision for a teenager.

But we wouldn’t want to mess with Bran. His warging abilities are formidable, as we found out when he took control of Hodor at Craster’s Keep in Season 4. Bran has the abilities. He just needs the patience to hone his skills. We’re confident that the next time he meets the Night King face to face, he’ll be ready.
