These Doctor Who Throwbacks Will Make You Feel Things

These Doctor Who throwback pics will give you all the nostalgia feels you need in your life right now, and hopefully help us make it until April.

It’s no secret that we’re very impatiently waiting for the premiere of the tenth season of Doctor Who. April can’t get here fast enough. In the meantime, they’ve been busy over there at the official Instagram posting all these Doctor Who throwbacks, and we just can’t stand it. They are giving us all the feels including acute nostalgia and extreme anticipation

As if the Doctor Who folks know what kind of jonesing is happening over here, they posted some behind the scenes throwback snaps that don’t take a time machine to appreciate. Although the wait until April is going to be long, these images will definitely tide us over.

Here’s a snap that takes us all the way back to days of Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor and Billie Piper as his companion. Somebody put these chairs on e-Bay, please.

Here’s the beautiful and talented Billie Piper, known to fans as Rose Tyler, getting a little retouch in between scenes in “The Girl In The Fireplace.”

Matt Smith perches on a ladder in between takes in “Time Of The Angels” and even put a little trivia in the caption. It was no match for the Whovian followers, however, and they guessed which episode straight away.

David Tennant gives great face behind the scenes on “Planet Of The Dead.” Maybe he looks so pensive because this was among his last moments in his tenure as Doctor Who. (Maybe it was just hot in the desert?)

A look into a little more recent history, shows some of the cast of “Before The Flood” getting some direction from the episode director, Daniel O’Hara.

These Doctor Who aren’t quite as thrilling as the real thing, but if you have a thing for nostalgia feels, these are good enough for now.
