During a visit to the UFC Unfiltered podcast, Game of Thrones showrunner David Benioff summed up the state of things in Westeros at the end of Season 6: “Daenerys is finally coming back to Westeros; Jon Snow is king of the North and Cersei is sitting on the Iron Throne. And we know the Night King is up there, waiting for all of them.” That’s what we know. That is 100% undeniable fact at this point. And that’s where this article starts.

2017 is shaping up to be a pretty Game of Thrones-centric year. Not only will we be getting Season 7, but there’s a possibility that author George R.R. Martin will finish The Winds of Winter for our reading pleasure. As we wait, we’ve compiled a primer of everything Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire-related coming down the pipe in 2017.

Fair warning, there are some SPOILERS ahead, although we’ll tell you when they’re coming beforehand. With that said, let’s get this wintry party started.
