Westworld Season 2 Predictions

Here are a few of our predictions for what’s going to happen in Westworld season 2.

SPOILER WARNING: THIS WESTWORLD THEORY POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM RECENT EPISODES OF WESTWORLD. IF YOU AREN’T CAUGHT UP ON WESTWORLD AVOID THIS POST! THIS POST ALSO CONTAINS CONJECTURE ABOUT THE FUTURE OF WESTWORLD, IF YOU DON’T WANT TO HEAR POSSIBLE WESTWORLD SPOILERS AVOID THIS POST!

We don’t have any concrete evidence on what’s going to happen in Westworld season 2 yet, but we can make some good guesses.

First off we know that the season will be about chaos. Westoworld co-creator Jonathan Nolan said that Westworld season 1 was all about control, and that Westworld season 2 would be about chaos.

Ford was the puppet master in the first season of Westworld and everything that happened was part of his plan, but now he’s gone… probably. So this means that for the first time the hosts are off the leash and in control of their own destiny. When you think about how chaotic the personalities of some of the hosts are, like Dolores/Wyatt, then you see what we may be in for.

There’s one host however who is used to control and careful planning and that’s Bernard. So the second part of Westworld season 2 may be about Bernard squaring off with Wyatt/Dolores. Dolores and Bernard are going to be the leaders the hosts gravitate towards, and they are going to have very different ideas about where the hosts should go from here.

The only piece of that video I really disagree with is the Samurai World bit. While we may see bits and pieces of other worlds Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy have been clear that Westworld will remain the center of the story.
