The eleventh Doctor is beloved by many and that is primarily because of Matt Smith and his work. But have you ever seen his other work?

Matt Smith played one of the most beloved Doctors of all time. But many fans haven’t seen his work outside of Doctor Who. There is nothing wrong with not experiencing an actor’s work outside of the show that made them famous but with Matt, you’re surely missing out.

Before he was the Doctor, Matt was on a show called Party Animals. Playing Danny, the show was relatively short lived but still gave us some amazing work by Matt. He was young, fresh-faced, and nowhere near playing our Doctor yet.

During his role on Doctor Who, Matt starred in a movie called Womb with Eva Green and played author Christopher Isherwood in Christopher and his Kind. For someone who loves Matt, these movies continued to prove his amazing talent. For fans of the show, they may have been asking what in the world Matt was doing.

Then after is when things got really interesting. For a brief moment on the West End, Matt took on the role of Patrick Bateman in American Psycho the Musical. He wasn’t the best singer in the world but he still gave an amazing performance. While his career was littered with random roles here and there, the next most notable one was his take on Prince Philip in Netflix’s The Crown.

There Matt’s naked butt may have been the star of the show but it once again proved his amazing talent as an actor.
