Filming continues on Game of Thrones Season 7, cast members are getting their tease on, and things are happening in the world of George R.R. Martin. Let’s recap the biggest stories from the past week, here on WiC Weekly.

Let’s begin with select actors who just can’t help dropping little hints about what’s coming. First, Maisie Williams (Arya) dropped some juicy hints about the Season 7 finale when talking to TimeOut.

Not to be outdone, Williams’ fellow castmate Nathlie Emmanuel (Missandei) gave some choice hints after the Screen Actors Build Awards.

The cast members didn’t do terribly well at the SAG Awards, by the way, but they talked a lot about Season 7 on the Red Carpet.

Let’s shift over to books for a minute, because there were a couple of interesting developments in that area this week.

That wasn’t all. The author also talked a little about what’s on his schedule, or rather NOT on his schedule, in the immediate future.

Moving onto filming news, an old friend turned up on the Season 7 set in Belfast.

In perhaps the most interesting news of the week, some concept for Game of Thrones Season 7 made its way onto the internet.

In editorials, did you hear that Peter Capaldi is retiring from the role of the Doctor on Doctor Who? We have some thoughts on that.

Beyond Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke has scored another movie role. She’s moving on up.

Finally, check out the results of our last Game of Thrones roundtable discussion.

The Best Moment of Season 6 poll, by the way, is currently live. That one’s a little cheerier.
