Doctor Who can be a daunting task to take on but at least Chris Chibnall is going to take a holiday before he launches into season 11.

When it comes to running Doctor Who, it can be a hard job and Chris Chibnall definitely doesn’t have his work cut out for him. So the new showrunner is taking a holiday before diving into the show.

Currently, he is still working on his show Broadchurch and one he’s done with the most recent season of it, he’s going to take a break before going into the wormhole that can be Doctor Who. Chibnall is taking over the show after Steven Moffat leaves at the end of season 10.

With Moffat comes a whole slew of problems. Many fans were less than happy with how he treated the Doctor and his companions and stopped watching the show during his run. As someone who loves Moffat and his work, I’m a little upset with his departure.

But now that Chibnall is taking over, what can we expect from the fans of the show? Will they come back now that Moffat is no longer taking over? Will they trust the man who gave us Broadchurch and the amazing Olivia Colman and David Tennant together?

Not only does Chibnall take over the show with a whole lot of issues but he also takes on Doctor Who without a Doctor. Chris, much like Moffat, gets to choose a new Doctor to start his run. Lucky number 13 will be chosen by Chris Chibnall.

We’ll have to wait until season 11 to see what Chris does but hopefully it is amazing. And we’ll know for sure as soon as we see who he chooses to be his Doctor!
