On a day without women, the Doctor Who Watch site will not run. Mainly because women are behind each post this site provides.
Doctor Who Watch is run by two wonderful women and we are comprised of only female writers. So today, we join our sister sites Culturess and Wizards and What Not in observing the women’s strike. A Day Without A Woman is one where many of your favorite things do not exist.
Looking at Doctor Who in general, without women we wouldn’t have the show we all so desperately love. The Doctor is made better by his female companions. They help him to be the more human version of himself that he can be.
This show is dependent on the hearts of women and we here, the women of Doctor Who Watch, want to say that without women all over the world, it would definitely be a darker place. And so on behalf of all those women, from years passed and those still paving the way, we are part of the day without a woman.
But don’t worry, the site will go back to its normal schedule as soon as Thursday morning hits. We are just going to miss out on all the good Doctor Who news that Wednesday will hold for us. So until we are ready to come back, take a look at some of our older articles!
And remember, without women, where would the Doctor himself be? Probably out of regenerations or stuck on some planet he couldn’t escape from.

Check back here on Thursday morning for your normal posts. But until then, we will be without new information. Because without women, this site would not run in any capacity.
