Jimmi Simpson Says He Probably Will Return To Westworld

Don’t assume we’ve seen the last of young William, because Jimmi Simpson says he probably will be returning to Westworld.

In a recent interview Jimmi Simpson, who played William on Westworld, told GQ that we probably haven’t seen the last of his younger version of the man in black on the hit HBO series.

Now before you get too excited this doesn’t mean we will see William in Westworld Season 2. Here’s what Jimmi Simpson had to say to GQ about William returning to Westworld:

"“…we’re all speculating what season two will be, and I think it’ll be something that will blow our minds, to the degree that the first season did. But I wouldn’t be surprised if William showed up season three or something.”"

So it sounds like Simpson thinks a return of William is possible, but not something we will see right away. Then again Westworld Season 2 hasn’t even started being shot yet, so we aren’t seeing anything right away. If we have to wait on Westworld Season 3 to see more William that may be in 2025!

The other thing to consider of course is that HBO actors haven’t always be honest about whether or not their character is done with a show. Kit Harrington swore that Jon Snow was dead and done with Game of Thrones, and now he’s the king in the north.

We will just have to wait and see if William returns to Westworld. It’s of course not out of the question that Westworld will have more stories to tell using memories that Dolores or others are digging up from their past.
