Westworld season 2 has had he plot of one of its episodes changed because fans online already guessed what the twist would be.

WARNING: THIS POST MAY CONTAIN WESTWORLD THEORIES AND SPOILERS.

The internet is in love with Westworld theories. On this site we break down and discussed theories as they came and went during the season and we’ve already begun speculating about Westworld season 2. There is certianly a group of Westworld fans who enjoy talking about what might be coming on the show almost as much as they do watching it.

The thing is those fan theories are often really good, especially the ones on Reddit. Now according to The Independent those good guess have caused a major change in the story for Westworld season 2.

While speaking at Paleyfest in L.A. Westworld creator Josh Nolan said this:

"“Reddit has already figured out the third episode twist, so we’re changing that right now,”"

That’s interesting that something Reddit and fans have speculated about for season 2 was right on the mark.

You can understand Nolan wanting to keep his story a secret, but I think it’s also important to remember that those folks speculating online are only a small portion of the audience. It may not be in the best interest of the show to change the plot just to avoid Reddit knowing what’s coming. This would be like leaving Jon Snow dead just because it was leaked on the Game of Thrones subreddit that he was in Ireland shooting.

Westworld is a huge hit; it’s first season was more popular than Game of Thrones first season. There’s no way that spoilers and theories are going to be avoidable for a show that’s generating this kind of attention.

That being said, after the amazing story that we were given last season who can question Josh Nolan?
