Westworld Season 2 Will Feature A Time Jump

Westworld season 2 won’t start right where season 1 left off, instead we will jump ahead in time again.

WARNING: THIS POST MAY HAVE WESTWORLD SEASON 2 SPOILERS.

More from Winter is Coming

When we left Westworld we were looking at a scene of panic as hosts surrounded the Delos board and dignitaries assembled to see Ford’s new storyline. Ford was killed by Dolores and other hosts now seemed to have the ability to truly harm the guests. We won’t however be picking up at this moment in Westworld Season 2.

Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Josh Nolan told Entertainment Weekly that the new season of Westworld will deal with the aftermath of this night, not the night itself.

“You’re definitely going to see the aftermath and the effects of what happened,” Lisa Joy told the website. “We are definitely not picking up right where we left off,” Jonathan Nolan added.

"“You’re definitely going to see the aftermath and the effects of what happened,” said Joy. “We are definitely not picking up right where we left off” added Nolan."

Now this doesn’t tell us how far into the future we are going to jump, just that we are going to jump forward in time. It could be the next morning when the hosts are regrouping and Ford’s body still lays where it fell. It could also be years later as the hosts and humans try to come to some sort of understanding. We just don’t know yet.

Whatever happens the information trickling out about Westworld Season 2 has us ready to get back in the park!
