As Marillion the bard on Game of Thrones, Emun Elliott learned the hard way not to sing satirical songs about dead kings, especially when that dead king’s crazy bastard son is sitting on the Iron Throne. For his crime, Joffrey had Ser Ilyn Payne cut out Marillion’s tongue way back in season 1.

Elliott turned up in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as Major Brance, a communications officer for the Resistance. Happily, his tongue was intact. His big moment came when he told General Leia that the First Order had destroyed Hosnian Prime.
