As we await the arrival of Game of Thrones season 7, twiddling our fingers and sifting through news for clues, sometime we need something to cut the tension. To that end, on this Easter Sunday, we present a dragon made of PEEPS.
Carroll County Arts Council 2017 PEEPshow – A Display of Marshmallow Masterpieces! Featuring more than 150 sculptures, dioramas, graphic arts, oversized characters and mosaics created and inspired by Peeps®!
Made from around 5000 different PEEPS (which now come in every color, including the iconic yellow), the “Mother of (PEEP) Dragons” is part of the Carroll County PEEPShow in Westminster, Maryland.
Artist Vivian Davis’ 8 1/2 foot dragon is but one of more than 150 other “sculptures, dioramas, graphic arts, oversized characters and mosaics created and inspired by Peeps.” More images can be found on Davis’ Facebook page.
Proceeds from the PEEPShow will benefit the Carroll County Arts Council. For a minimum donation of $1.00, you can vote online for your favorite entry. We assume that if you’re reading this site, that would be the “Mother of (PEEP) Dragons,” although PEEP Pikachu is always an option.

The “Mother of (PEEP) Dragons” currently sits in eighth place, so get those votes in before the deadline on April 19th. For those lucky enough to live near Westminster, Maryland, feel free to visit the PEEPShow itself.
It’s a dragon. Made out of PEEPs. That should be enough for a happy Easter.
