More new images from season 7, including one featuring Sam and a HUMAN BRAIN
By Dan Selcke
We’ve been hit with a of beautiful images from Game of Thrones season 7 over the past couple days, and the deluge isn’t over. FarFarAwaySite, a website that collects high-quality photography from TV shows, recently uploaded many of the officially released images from season 7, and there were a couple of intriguing new ones in the mix.
Case in point: this picture of Samwell Tarly in a bloodied smock.
Please note the HUMAN BRAIN on the scale behind him.
At least I think it’s human. Also, it might be a pair of lungs? Or a stomach? It’s an organ. Anybody with a medical background wanna weigh in here?
Anyway, it would make sense that, as a maester-in-training, Sam would have to learn about human anatomy. Although I can’t imagine the squeamish Sam would take well to it.
FarFarAwaySite also uploaded the first full length picture of Daniel Portman as the ever-faithful Podrick Payne, looking dashing and a little confused in the same maroon leathers he’s been wearing since season 2.
It’s hard to be completely sure, but I’m guessing Pod is hanging out in the Winterfell courtyard, possibly looking on with concern as Tormund tries to seduce Brienne. She’s going to kill him, Pod thinks. She’s going to kill him right in his face.
Next, we have Beric Dondarrion and the Hound riding through a snowfall. We’ve seen images of the two of them separately before, but not in the same frame.
Beric looks a good deal happier than the Hound, who is clearly jonesing for a chicken or eight.
Finally, there’s this glorious three-shot of Jon Snow, Sansa Stark and Davos Seaworth addressing the assembled crowd in Winterfell’s Great Hall.
We’ll see these images come to life when Game of Thrones season 7 debuts on July 16.
