The Hound wields his sword at the Dragonpit?

This silhouette sure looks like the Hound, but we can’t be sure. The location may be the ruins of the Dragonpit (formerly a huge stable where the Targaryens housed their dragons), which would place the Hound in King’s Landing. But the Hound has gone north, and there’s another shot in the trailer of him screaming into the snow, so what in the world would he be doing here?

Perhaps this is a shot from later in the season, and the northern forces have swung south to link up with the Targaryens. If so, perhaps the Hound finds his brother waiting for him here.

Jon Snow and Company take on a gaggle of wights

This image appears to be Jon Snow and his companions once again taking on an undead army of wights, who are trying to take the high ground from them. The big question here is: why does Jon (and apparently Tormund, the Hound and Beric Dondarrion, all of whom are glimpsed among falling snow and looking ready for danger) feel it necessary to once again travel north of the Wall?

It’s interesting to note that, in every shot associated with this event, Jon looks calm. Perhaps they’re baiting the wights into some kind of trap or kill box. The man on Jon’s right appears to be wielding a flaming sword, but it looks more like the Hound than Beric Dondarrion. Could the Hound be working with fire? Stranger things have happened on Game of Thrones.

Jon Snow fights another White Walker?

First of all, this is Jon Snow we’re looking at — notice the wolf’s head on the pommel of his sword, which identifies it as Longclaw. He’s back at it with the Night King’s seriously nasty lieutenants this season. That’s okay, because his swordfights with the White Walkers never get old.
