Well, the final two episodes are upon us. Last week, we went to Scotland and found out what happened to the ninth legion of Roman soldiers, and today we’re doing things a bit differently. We’re letting Missy take the lead role. How will that work?
We have a bunch of material for you to read to get ready, including a recap and review of last week’s episode, and a couple of speculation posts (4 Things that Could Happen, History of the Mondasian Cybermen, Is Bill safe?) of what might occur.
Despite the tiny bit of sadness I have as it gets closer to the end of the series, plus whatever might happen to 12, I’m trying to put that aside. We should be excited about a historical event between the Doctor, the Mondasian Cybermen, and the Masters.
But we should all be worried for the Doctor, even Steven Moffat gave an ominous introduction to the episode:
Second, we have the trailer for the episode BBC premiered after Eaters of Light. While it’s not much, it’s definitely enough to give you an idea of what we’re in for.
Here, we see Missy try to be the Doctor, even calling herself Doctor Who rather than the Doctor. She tries to introduce Bill and Nardole, and, well…it doesn’t exactly go great.
BBC has been stingy this week with what they’ve been willing to release, so we don’t have as many trailers as normal. But, it just aids in the surprise! What I can give you is some pictures of what to expect.

This John Simm’s Master is looking quite dapper compared to how he dressed with David Tennant’s Doctor. It’s very much the same as what 12 wears, isn’t it?

In case you’ve never seen A Tenth Planet, here’s what the Mondasian Cybermen, the first kind of Cyberman we saw ever on the series. You can see how they look a bit more human compared to the Cybermen we’re used to!
Here is what they looked like all those years ago. Incredibly creepy.
