WiC Live: We burn through Episodes 6-8 of Game of Thrones season 6

Welcome to WiC Live, a weekly show where myself and FanSided’s Kayla Knierim go over the latest and greatest in the world of Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire.

But not so much this week. Game of Thrones season 7 is almost upon us, and before we start our coverage of the new episodes, we’re trying to get Kayla all caught up with the old ones. She’s a Game of Thrones newbie, you see, and week by week I’ve been walking her through every episode of the show in a segment we call “Kayla Knows Nothing,” because references. By now, we’ve pretty much gone through the whole series. This week, we tackle “Blood of My Blood,” “The Broken Man,” and “No One,” picking them apart and plumbing them for deeper meaning.

Also, Kayla asks me this quiz about A Game of Thrones and I don’t do nearly as well as I should have. But in my defense, the questions were difficult and I brought wine.

In addition to covering whatever news crops up, next week we’ll tackle “Battle of the Bastards.” Then it’s on to “The Winds of Winter,” and then season 7 is here!

We’re looking forward to covering episodes of season 7 as they air, and hope to bring on some guests and feature some giveaways. It’s an exciting time to be a Game of Thrones fan.
