The long-awaited first episode of Game of Thrones season 7 — “Dragonstone” — has come and gone. Now check out the trailer for “Stoneborn,” the second hour of season 7, below.
Daenerys said all of three words in “Dragonstone,” and Tyrion — usually a loquacious fellow — said nothing. They don’t say anything in this trailer, either, but considering our look at that roundtable scene in Dragonstone — featuring the likes of Yara, Theon, Ellaria Sand and Varys — I’m betting they’ll make their thoughts known. Also, with that group assembled, the odds are good that Olenna is sitting just out of frame, being sassy.
I also dig how the first two scenes mirror each other. Jon’s advisors (well, if you want to call Yohn Royce that) tell him that Daenerys can’t be trusted, and Cersei says much the same things to the lords assembled in the Red Keep throne room. Does this mean Jon and Cersei will team up to take Daenerys down? Not a freaking chance, but Team Dany clearly has some hearts and minds to win.
Finally, that flash of images at the end had some juicy stuff, including Nymeria Sand slashing at someone, mounted men pouring out of Winterfell, Ellaria Sand and Yara making out, and someone (it’s totally Jon) strangling Littlefinger. Doing the lord’s work, that man.

And of course, we got a brief glimpse of Arya Stark coming face to face with a huge wolf. Is this her long-awaited reunion with Nymeria, the direwolf she chased away stones way back in the second episode of the series? (No relation to Nymeria Sand.) Talk amongst yourself.
