34-49. Red-Wedding surprised

We would stake our life that these characters make it through “Dragonstone.”

34. Jon Snow: 10%. Jon is safe unless and until he leaves Winterfell. We can’t have one of the main characters dying, can we? Oh, wait…

35. Ghost: 9%. We didn’t see Ghost last week, which means he couldn’t die. That’ll probably continue, since direwolves are expensive to animate. But hey, at least it keeps him alive.

36. Samwell Tarly: 8%. If we were polling who has the worst job in Westeros, Sam would be at the top of the list. But as bad as his working conditions are, he’s far from any violent conflict.

37. Gilly (And little Sam): 8%. Gilly and little Sam seemed to be getting along just fine in Sam’s bungalow.

38. Lyanna Mormont: 6%. Can Lyanna Mormont do no wrong? We think not. And as long as she remains at Winterfell, we expect she’ll keep on ticking.

39. Cersei Lannister: 5%. Cersei may surrounded on all sides by enemies, but it’s too early to kill off one of the show’s main firestarters. We say the Queen of the Seven Three (at best) Kingdoms is out of danger for the moment.

40. Missandei: 4%. Missandei is no warrior, so she’s likely to stick by Dany’s side as the war kicks into full gear.

41. Varys: 3%. Like Missandei, Varys stays out of the fray. And who has ever been able to sneak up on a spider?

42. Arya Stark: 2%. These odds go way up if Arya does in fact head to King’s Landing, but something tells us she’ll go elsewhere.

43.  Sansa Stark: 1%. Sansa has more power and influence than ever, so for now she’s safe. Also, Brienne has a really shardp sword.

44. Tyrion Lannister: 1%. Tyrion is there to advise Dany, and as such will likely not leave her side. Also, the dragons seem to like him.

45. Jaime Lannister: 1%. Jaime and Cersei don’t look like the happiest of couples these days. But until Jaime leaves King’s Landing, he’s safe by her side.

46. Bran Stark: 1%. South of the wall, Bran is safer than he’s been in a very long time. Despite the Night King most likely still gunning for him, Bran is too important to kill off this soon.

47. Daenerys Targaryen: 1%. Dany has secured herself a strong fortress in Dragonstone. Also she has dragons. And plot armor. Should she join the war effort proper, though, her odds of dying will rise.

48. The Night King: 1%. As if the Night King didn’t have enough power, now he seems to be in command of undead giants, which is bad news for everyone but him.

49. Archmaester Ebrose: 1%. You don’t hire Jim Broadbent just to give a little speech in the first episode.
