Game of Thrones Screencap Breakdown: “The Queen’s Justice”
By Corey Smith
Back on Dragonstone, Tyrion has come up to the cliffs of Dragonstone to brood. But someone has beat him to it:
Just look at this vista. Just look.
The pair exchange a series of ever more brooding looks. Derek Zoolander would be proud.
But as long as they do it against the stunning backdrop of Dragonstone, we’re happy.
Jon and Tyrion continue to chat, and Tyrion convinces Jon to ask something of Daenerys that she can actually do. As opposed to say, Jon’s freedom.
Jon and Tyrion continue to chat, and Tyrion convinces Jon to ask something of Daenerys that she can actually grant. As opposed to, say, Jon’s freedom.
Basically, Tyrion talks Jon into remembering that he came to Dragonstone to mine for Dragonglass. After that, he has to convince his boss to let Jon mine it, something easier said than done.
We get yet more looks at the war room on Dragonstone, which is pretty much destined to be the most-visited set in season 7.
Ultimately, Dany agrees to allow Jon to mine the glass, giving him “something for nothing.”
She also wonders about Davos’ earlier remark about Jon taking a knife through the heart. Tyrion dismisses it as a fancy, but expect it to come up again later.
Both becalmed, Jon and Dany meet on the same walkway Jon arrived on.
Dany’s stance has softened since their first meeting. The vistas probably did it.
Dany isn’t ready to believe everything Jon is saying about the army of the dead, but let’s satisfy ourselves with baby steps.
