Valar Morghulis: Who’s most likely to die in “The Spoils of War”?
By Corey Smith
20-30. Tywin-Lannister-sitting-on-the-toilet surprised
It was surprising, but the way he treated his family had to come back and bite him sooner or later. If these characters died in “The Spoils of War” we’d raise an eyebrow.
20. The Hound: 20%. So far as we know, the Hound is still marching for the Wall. That puts him in harm’s way, although we don’t expect him to die in the same episode in which he’s reintroduced. IF he even shows up this week
21. Jorah Mormont: 19%. Sure, Jorah appears to have been cured of his greyscale. But he’s also headed right back into Daenerys’ service. And she’s not waging a war on heart disease.
22. Beric Dondarrion: 20%. Yes, Beric is already dead. But his odds of being really, truly, can’t-move-anymore dead go up the closer he gets to the Wall.
23. Thoros of Myr: 20%. Old top knot seems a capable warrior, but he’s also a drunk. “Drunken warrior monk fights army of the dead” sounds like a good TV show.
24. Missandei: 18% Ordinarily, Missandei would not be this high on our list, but Dany’s allies are dropping like flies. No one is safe.
25. Podrick Payne: 16%. Poor Podrick. The trailer for this week’s episode has him once again getting pummeled by someone. One of these weeks, someone is going to go too far.
26. Brienne of Tarth: 15%. We’d love to see someone try to take down Brienne. Would. Love. It.
27. Melisandre: 14%. Melisandre said she’s headed back to Essos, so she should be safe for the foreseeable future. Still, we know that her plans have a tendency to go up in flames.
28. Meera Reed: 13%. Meera deposited Bran back at Winterfell. Now, she seems kind of redundant to the plot. Still, that’s no reason to kill her, right?
29. Euron Greyjoy: 12%. Euron is the Keyser Soze of Westeros: he’s everywhere and he’s nowhere. And we are all afraid.
30. Nymeria: 12%. Nymeria will come back at some point, right? That can’t be the last time we saw her.
