“Eastwatch” is in the books, and our favorite Game of Thrones characters are ready to tackle the penultimate episode of season 7. Clocking in at 70 minutes, Episode 706 looks to be quite the roller coaster ride. Watch the extra-long preview below.
“Death is the enemy.” Beric Dondarrion sets the tone for us right away. Jon and his band of merry misfits are headed for trouble.
While a few locales make appearances in the preview, it seems we will be spending most of our time north of the Wall. Stunning vistas and zombies are the order of the day.
From their initial march out of the gates of Eastwatch-by-the-Sea to the moment where they’re all fleeing for their lives, the expedition north to capture a wight doesn’t seem to go well for Jon and company. Hopefully Beric’s flaming lightsaber is as deadly as it looks.
There may only be two episodes left in season 7, but there could be plenty of surprises left to come. Episode 706 airs next Sunday at 9:00 p.m. EST.
