Action shot of Sansa whinging about her psychotic sister. Whinging is our new favorite word.

Littelfinger looks relieved to finally have someone listen to him without slamming him against a wall.

More whinging, this time with hand movements.

Littlefinger talks out of the side of his mouth, as he is wont to do.

Sansa wondering if it was really that bad with Ramsay.

There’s the mountain again. This is about as close as our boys are going to get.

We can clearly see Jorah’s dragonglass dagger here. It’s odd that no one mentioned it specifically.

As the most natural outdoors man, logically it’s Tormund who first notices the sounds…

It’s a group of wights out for a stroll. Our heroes are in luck, it seems.

“Jon, here’s the chance for our half-brained plan to work.”

The boys decide to light a fire. You can see the smoke lazily rising to the sky here.

It does the job, though, as the White Walker and his random patrol march on in. Slowly, of course.

Pancho the White Walker is pondering who would be lighting a fire.

The aforementioned fire, looking like it’s been burning way longer than the 30 seconds its been lit.

Pancho’s face looks more life-like than those of previous White Walkers.

Like Admiral Ackbar said, “It’s a trap!”

Jon’s an expert at fighting White Walkers, and quickly turns Pancho into so many ice cubes.

That has the very convenient effect of dropping all the wights, except one.

Tormund decks the wight, and then its time to wrangle up that calf.

The wight biting off the Hound’s glove made me chuckle. Use a rope next time there, bud.

This shot, of the mist falling down from the mountain a la Hardhome, gave me chills. The army of the dead must have heard the wight scream before Jon and company put a bag on its head.

Jon decides to send Gendry back to Eastwatch for help. He argues briefly…

…before setting off like the Flash.
