We open Grey Worm’s Unsullied, arrayed in all their lock-step majesty.

Clearly, they marched back to King’s Landing from Casterly Rock over the past three episodes. We admire their clean lines.

The walls of King’s Landing not looking too impressive from this angle.

Another great shot of the Unsullied. The Lannisters already look outnumbered.

But they’re doing a good job of preparing oil and pitch for a potential siege.

Great shot of the battlements of King’s Landing. The walls look much higher here. The little wooden bridge connecting the two towers is a nice touch.

Jaime and Bronn gaze look at the odds.

Jaime’s squint game is strong.

More squinting, but also notice the soldier blowing the horn to announce the arrival of even more of Dany’s forces…

It’s the Dothraki, who come streaming over the rise like ants from an ant hill.

Eep.

If the Dothraki look like ants, Euron’s Iron Fleet looks like a swarm of angry wasps

King’s Landing has never looked so good. If you look closely, you can see the window Tommen jumped out of.

Cersei gives the Mountain orders on who to kill first should the meeting goes poorly. He looks like a giant zombie samurai.

This shot gives us a good sense of how far the Dragonpit is from the Red Keep. Keep that in mind for later, when Cersei and Tyrion retire to the Red Keep and then return. It’s not Euron-jumping-across-Westeros bad, but it’s still a bit glaring.

Everyone in their Sunday best.

The Dothraki are wearing some scavenged bits of Lannister armor, which is a fun detail.

Brienne and the Hound’s conversation about Arya was one of the best moments of the episode.

Does it look like more people suddenly joined the joined the crowd…

…and then suddenly disappeared?

Either way, we have arrived at the Dragonpit, originally built by the Targaryens to house the royal dragons.

It might seem to be a random location for a meeting, but there are only so many venues in King’s Landing big enough to accommodate this many people.
