The Night King shows off his athleticism, Conan O’Brien interviews the cast, and more funnies

It’s Monday. You have another five days to get through until you can experience the sweet joy of the weekend. Just in case you’re upset about that, we have some Game of Thrones-themed funnies on offer to brighten your morning. How can you be sour when the Night King takes down Viserion with a football while, Daenerys, giant foam finger in hand, looks on from the stands?

That’s the subject of our first video, wherein the Night King’s miraculous murder of Drogon is reimagined as happening during a heated football game. It’s pretty magnificent.

The sports connections go deeper. According to 247 Sports, Giants coach Ben McAdoo tried to motivate his players by showing them the entire scene where Jon Snow’s band of merry men fought off the army of the dead before flying away on Drogon.

What were the players supposed to take from this? “It’s the…episode when the dragons came, they saved the people,” safety Landon Collins told the New York Post, “so basically we’re coming to be the game-changers in this conference and we’re gonna take over. That’s kinda what I took from it.”

“They say defense wins championships, so I definitely felt like that was a calling of the defense, the dragons,” said linebacker B.J. Goodson. “If the dragons don’t show up. … We always talk about playing complementary football, so if the dragon don’t show up, the guys are done.”

All good answers. Who the hell knows if any were right?

Another funny video: at what point in their journeys did the characters in season 7 know they f**ked up? This video reveals all.

I’m also very fond of the “Edit conversational scenes so everything is unspeakably awkward” trend. I’ve seen it employed for a few different scenes this season. Obviously, the huge Dragonpit meeting in the finale episode is perfect for it:

“Then there is nothing left to discuss.” Exactly.

Elsewhere, Security Bank has put together a handy guide for which deaths on the show are insurable. Predictably, they’ll take any opportunity not to pay out.

Going back a bit, the Team COCO YouTube channel has put a couple new clips of Conan O’Brien interviewing cast members earlier this year. We’ve got Liam Cunningham teasing us with a Davos Seaworth nude scene…
