Big Finish announces Jenny: the Doctor’s Daughter audioset

Big Finish confirmed a rumor that has been roaming around since Georgia Tennant tweeted about it a couple months ago. Today, they confirmed that an audio set of adventures with Jenny, the Doctor’s Daughter, and her companion, played by Sean Biggerstaff will come out next year.

I love the dig at the female Time Lord. Whether she’s making fun of the fact that there are more than just one or two females in charge of spaceships. With the coming of the Thirteenth Doctor, it just makes sense that Jenny finally gets her own series.
I know many people prefer television sets, and trust me, if I could have a spin-off of Jenny and a companion, I would kickstart the heck out of it. Fortunately, though, we have Big Finish, a way to bring us things we can’t have on television, and the ability to listen anytime.
Here’s what we know so far!
Sean Biggerstaff will play Noah, who will basically serve as Jenny’s companion. Georgia, who is also a known producer, also has a producer on these audios as well!
There will be four adventures of the two, coming out in June 2018:
- Stolen Goods by Matt Fitton
- Prisoner of the Ood by John Dorney
- Neon Reign by Christian Brassington
- Zero Space by Adrian Poynton
The synopsis of these episodes hasn’t been released yet.
Jenny: The Doctor’s Daughter is available for pre-order for £23 on CD or £20 for a download. General release will be £35 on CD or £30 on download.
Also available is a special bundle with The Diary of River Song Series 4 and Series 5 pre-ordering all three box sets for £68 on CD or £60 on download. These are the upcoming sets including the Fifth and Fourth Doctor.

It seems like Big Finish may be trying to make their own Time Lord to give us a range of audio sets that will include Jenny. Why else would they give her a companion? Who knows what’s in store after this introductory audio set — we could have Jenny meeting her father, various versions, or maybe 10 himself!
