Game of Thrones 2017 holiday gift guide
By Dan Selcke
The holidays are upon us, and you may be looking for a gift for that Game of Thrones-loving someone in your life. (Or maybe that someone is you.) Happily, there’s plenty to choose from.
Let’s start with the obvious: HBO has released the Game of Thrones season 7 home boxset on both Blu-ray and DVD. Featuring all seven episodes of the most recent season, the boxset comes replete with audio commentaries, special features and, in the case of the Blu-ray set, animated histories drilling down on certain aspects of the show. You can pick it up on Amazon for the reasonable rate of #39.99.
And if you want to go even further, HBO has also released a boxset featuring every single episode of the series made so far. The Blu-ray version of that will run you a pricer $139.99, but that’s a whole lotta content.
And if you enjoyed the music from season 7, consider picking up the original soundtrack, which is available both on CD ($12.98) and vinyl ($29.98).
