Dolores went through a lot in Season 1, but we will see a very different side of her in the show’s sophomore season.

Evan Rachel Wood’s character, Dolores Abernathy, was a central part of Westworld Season 1, but her story has just begun. Against near insurmountable odds, she faced everything the world threw at her and came out on the other side. She confronted William, reached the center of the maze, and in the end, chose her own path.

We caught a glimpse of the person she will become, but there is still much more to be discovered. As we look forward towards Season 2, it becomes clear that things will be very different. To what extent exactly? Thanks to Evan Rachel Wood, we have an idea of what to expect from Dolores in the upcoming season.

Evan Rachel Wood Says Dolores Will Be A Very Different Character In Westworld Season 2

[Credit: HBO]During an interview with Coveteur, Evan Rachel Wood was asked if she could give any hints about Westworld Season 2. She didn’t give away any spoilers, but she did drop an intriguing bit of information. Specifically, what we can expect to see from Dolores in the show’s second season:

"“We’re mid-season right now, and it is twice as ambitious as the first one. Twice as crazy! I didn’t think it could get bigger or crazier, and now we’re halfway through, and I just can’t even believe what we’re doing. I’m on the show, and I’m still getting shocked and surprised at everything that they’re throwing at me. [Dolores is] a very different character this season.”"

It’s hard to guess how Dolores has changed exactly, but she is bound to have more agency. By the end of Season 1, she decided to kill Ford, which led to the hosts uprising. Based on the Season 2 trailer, it seems like the hosts are taking their revenge on the humans. But, is Dolores leading the rebellion? Does she have a hidden agenda? Both questions are intriguing, but we can’t answer them just yet.

What we do know, is that Westworld Season 2 is on it’s way and we couldn’t be more excited.
