James Marsden has been a star for many years, but, recently, he’s been endeared to fans as Teddy Flood on HBO’s Westworld. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, James Marsden opened up about working on Westworld Season 2. The actor didn’t reveal any secrets from the show’s new season, but he did say it will be worth the wait for fans:
"“You will not be disappointed. The world that we created will be completely expanded upon, and the themes and the philosophies will all be taken to the next degree. The one thing I can say is that it just feels so much bigger this year…”"
The sheer scope of Season 2 sounds impressive, but fans are still hoping for some details. However, Marsden went on and subtlety urged fans not to seek out spoilers:
"“The more that’s kept a secret, the more reward the audience is going to have when they watch it. The best way to watch this show is to let it come to you, and that’s the most rewarding experience and the most rewarding way to watch it. Let it unfold in its own time. But the fans will be very pleased.”"
By all accounts, it sounds like the year and a half hiatus between seasons will have been worth the wait. It’s hard to fathom what Westworld Season 2 has in store for us, but as Marsden said, we should be patient. Spring is only a few months away, and, apparently, the less we know about the upcoming season, the bigger the payoff will be.
Westworld Season 2 will premiere Spring 2018.
