We all know the actors of Westworld having been giving it their all for season 2. Now the hard working people behind the scenes, the Westworld crew members are posting their own wrap party pictures.
It looks like Westworld Season 2 is just around the corner. Several actors have already confirmed on that they have finished their scenes. Now we are starting to see some of the Westworld crew members posting pictures on their social media accounts. Let’s see just how excited they are for the return of Westworld.
The Westworld Crew In The VFX Department
The first season of Westworld opened with Teddy Flood (James Marsden) riding through the rugged country of the Wild West. All our breaths were taken away by the stunning beauty of the mountains as Teddy and Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood) rode on horseback. But the devil is in the details, and that is where the Visual Effects experts come into play.
Did you think that the interior of Delos was built by carpenters or the train chugging through the mountains already existed? All that work to make the impossible look real was done by the tedious hands of the VFX department. Just the other day, Obi Ariguzo, via onlyobi on Instagram, posted on his Instagram account and picture that summed up all the hard work his team put into making this show:
Without a doubt the best & hardest working Visual Effects Team! Honored to have joined the team. Now we’ll all be in recovery mode till next season.
You can tell by the post that the VFX put a lot of time and energy into creating Westworld Season 2. However, just like the hosts, they need some down time and repairs before they head back to work. Enjoy your time off until you are ready for your next loop.
It Was A Long 6 Months
With all the hard work comes some of the spoils. When you work with such a great cast, they even let you party with them. Ali Naqvi, via knocv on his Instragram, posted a picture of the wrap party. Take a look at Clifton Collins Jr, Luke Hemsworth and Simon Quarterman enjoying a day of eating BBQ:
Sometimes we work hard for 6 months. Sometimes we party hard.
According to Naqvi on his website Naqturnal.com, he said that for the wrap party back in Decemeber, the cast crew put together a a music video:
So secretly on the most secretive show on TV, over the past few weeks I have been emailing with the Cast and Crew to put together a 90s “Freedom Rock” type late night commercial. I took submissions from departments our lovely cast and shot short music video parodies with Westworld compiled a video over the last week. It played after a gag reel the producers ran at the party.
Maybe one day we will get a chance to see that video made for the showrunners of Westworld. Wonder if Evan Rachel Wood took to the microphone to rock out during the wrap party?
Let’s give credit and a big Thank You to all the Westworld crew members who have put their blood, sweat and tears into making season 2. We may show and discuss all the fun and news from the actors’ perspective, but without the crew, the imaginative world of Westworld would never exist. We look forward to seeing what everyone has come together to create. Spring can’t get here fast enough.
