Westworld Season 2 Finally Gets An Official Premiere Date
Thanks to new trailer that debuted during the Super Bowl, we now know Westworld’s Season 2’s premiere date.
Westworld’s second season is one of the most anticipated TV shows coming in 2018 and fans can’t wait to visit the park again. HBO has been tight-lipped about the show’s production; however, they have recently begun their marketing campaign. HBO’s official Twitter account has resumed all motor functions and started promoting Westworld Season 2.
Even more exciting, HBO released a special look at the new season during, which was met with praise from fans. The short look showed us the shape of things to come in Season 2, but it did much more than that. After waiting in the dark for over a year, we finally know when Westworld Season 2 will premiere!

Westworld Season 2 Finally Gets An Official Premiere Date
Prior to Westworld’s Super Bowl spot, HBO only confirmed that the show would return this spring. For months, fans speculated about when the show could come back, but know one knew for sure. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, we are happy to say that Westworld Season 2 will premiere on HBO Sunday, April 22, 2018 9PM/EST.
Not only is this date not too far away, but it also means that HBO is pushing Westworld for Emmy consideration. According to the Emmy’s official website, a show must air a majority of it’s episodes by May 31st. April 22nd guarantees that 6 out of 10 of Westworld Season 2’s episodes will air by the cut-off date.
This confirmation is certainly exciting for fans, and for the first time, we have a day to look forward to. The trailer also gave us a great sneak peek of the upcoming season which we will dive into in a future article. For now, we are stoked that we finally received a substantial piece of news regarding Westworld Season 2.
