Now that she’s conquered the worlds of TV and moviesGame of Thrones star Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) is setting her sights on a different horizon: tech entrepreneurship. She and her partners are developing a new social media app called Daisie, designed as a place where young creative types can get exposure for their work, as well as network and collaborate on other projects. So far as side gigs go, it’s pretty ambitious.

“I want Daisie to give other creatives the opportunities that I was lucky enough to receive at the beginning of my career,” Williams told Tech Crunch. “Daisie will break down the archaic gap between youth and creative jobs; offering new opportunities for individuals to collaborate, learn and create – establishing a new way for talented individuals to be discovered and employed.” She also sees it as a way for female creators to gain more control over their careers in the wake of the abuse scandals currently rocking the entertainment industry…and a lot of other industries, actually.

Daisie is still in development, although the company is already working to develop an installer base for when the app launches in August of this year. There won’t be any advertising on the app, but some options will be locked behind an enhanced “Plus” program. All in all, it’s a cool idea about which Williams is clearly passionate. If you want in on the ground floor, head to the website.*

Meanwhile, Williams’ onscreen sister Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) is making waves, too. She’ll be playing the title character in a new movie called Josie, about a mysterious stranger who blows into a sleepy town in the American south. Sporting her natural blonde hair and an American accent, it’ll be Turner as we’ve never seen her before. The poster is out now:

Josie is coming out March 9. Then Turner has X-Men: Dark Phoenix coming out in November, so she’s doing just fine.
