The first eight episodes of the series left us with a lot of questions, particularly in the shocking cliffhanger at the end of Aliens Among Us 2. Yvonne Hartman – boss of the now destroyed Torchwood One – is back from the dead. But how? And why now?
With the eagerly anticipated release of Torchwood: Alien Among Us 3, the last box set of the season, out today, it looks like we’ll be getting some answers.

The final episodes of ‘Aliens Among Us’
It sounds like there’s a lot to look forward to. Poker Face follows directly from the last episode, and features the return of Yvonne Hartman. Escape Room looks set to resolve a mystery that began all the way in the season’s second episode, Aliens & Sex & Chips & Gravy. And the finale sounds like classic Torchwood.
Which can be true of virtually every episode of the season so far. Aliens Among Us has taken a lot of bold risks. But that’s always been what makes Torchwood so great in the first place. This season has been able to capture the old Torchwood feel, while still telling something brand new. So I’m eager to listen to and review these final four episodes.
