Who Will Lee Sizemore Side With In Westworld Season 2?

Will Lee Sizemore rebel with the hosts or defend the guests of Westworld?

Westworld Season 2 premiere is just a few months away. With the recent Super Bowl trailer and SDCC trailer from 2017, we have a better idea of which characters are coming back. One character appearing in season two is Lee Sizemore (Simon Quarterman), the smug head of the Narrative Department.  We never found out the fate of Sizemore at the end of season one. But in one of the trailers, we saw him standing next to Maeve (Thandie Newton). They both stood in front of a pile of dead Delos security guards. Will Lee Sizemore support Maeve’s goal (whatever it may be) or will he decide to support the efforts to stop the hosts?

It’s very possible that Lee Sizemore might be killed by hands of Maeve. She or Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) could view him as an accessory to all the host’s oppression. However, Sizemore, a high-level employee at Delos, may prove a valuable resource for either side. Let’s take a look at how his skills could support either team.

Lee Sizemore Joining Forces With Maeve

Lee Sizemore was know for his intense story lines. His goal was to give the guests a “relentless fucking experience.” Well, be careful what you wish for Mr. Sizemore. He eventually got a dose of reality when the hosts started becoming sentient. In the SDCC 2017 trailer, the expression on his face is priceless. But then we see another scene as Maeve holds a gun to his throat.

Does this mean that Maeve will recruit Sizemore to her side? We saw in season one that Maeve pumped up her attributes, and now has the ability to read people. This new ability makes her extremely manipulative. It’s possible that this might be a tactic to keep Lee Sizemore in her pocket. As a high-ranking employee of Delos, Size knows the ins-and-outs of the park. Maeve could use him to help find her daughter in the park based on the note given to her by Felix. His knowledge of the inner-workings of the park could provide her information on how everything operates.

Lee Sizemore And Delos Security

Maeve will be a force in season two. Just look at her sending the stampede of mechanical bulls to attack the guards in the recent season two trailer. Maybe, Lee Sizemore will run away from Maeve and join the forces trying to stop the hosts after their encounter.

He may realize that she’s the mastermind behind the rebellion and Dolores is her harbinger of death. Sizemore may have a heart and join the Delos security team. It has already been confirmed that Jonathan Tucker has signed on for season two as a military officer. Again, his knack for creating stories could be very valuable.

After 9/11, the army held a secret meeting with several members of Hollywood. They asked the directors and screenwriters to develop possible terrorists scenarios. The army wanted to be prepared for any type of attack. Lee Sizemore could provide scenarios to the military in Westworld, which could impede any attacks from the hosts.
