Westworld Season 2 will introduce Zahn McClarnon, but why does he look so familiar?
From the trailer during the Super Bowl, Westworld Season 2 looks to explode with chaos. New cast member, Betty Gabriel, is said to help set order back in Westworld. Some of the other new characters in season 2 are shrouded in mystery. One of these actors is Zahn McClarnon that was shown in the hidden trailer on HBO’s DiscoverWestworld.com site. The scene didn’t provide us much information about his role in the upcoming season, but the bloody hand touching his face coincides with the chaos theme. Here’s hoping his character will give some insight into the mysterious Ghost Nation.
McClarnon has been working Hollywood since the 1990’s. But it’s been the past few years where his acting prowess has started to shine. Here are some of his recent performances.

Where Have You Seen Westworld Season 2 Newcomer Zahn McClarnon Before?
Zahn McClarnon was born in Denver, Colorado. He is of Hunkpapa Lakota and Irish decent. He spent most of his childhood surrounded by his Native American culture. McClarnon would spend time in Blackfeet Indian Reservation with his grandparents and would visit his mother at the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota. He lived all over the Upper Midwest in the United States.
While living in Omaha, Nebraska, Zahn McClarnon caught the acting bug after his performance in the play Jesus Christ Superstar. After doing a few local commercials, it was off to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in acting. Throughout his career, Zahn Clarnon portrayed Native American and Hispanic characters.
However, his heritage and acting resume have lead him to become of television’s most promising actors in Native American roles. This is evident in is portrayal of his breakout role of Hanzee Dent in AMC’s Fargo. McClarnon went on to star as Comanche war chief Tohsaway in AMC’s The Son, an epic tale set during the rise of the Texas oil industry.
