Sibel Kekilli (Shae) and Sam Coleman (Young Hodor) added to Con of Thrones lineup
By Corey Smith
Come May 25, the second annual Con of Thrones is hitting the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, and the guest list keeps growing. Sibel Kekilli (Shae) and Sam Coleman (Young Hodor) are the latest additions to a lineup that also includes Esme Bianco (Ros), Kate Dickie (Lysa Arryn), Hannah Murray (Gilly) Aimee Richardson (Myrcella Baratheon) and Game of Thrones sound designer Paula Fairfield.
Over the three-day event, Game of Thrones fans can expect a bonanza of cosplay, panels, and general Westerosi revelry. Popular podcasts A Storm of Spoilers and Binge Mode will be on hand, and we can expect more announcements about guests as May 25 draws closer. Last year’s Con of Thrones, the first ever, featured appearances by Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton), and Miltos Yerolemou (Syrio Forel), as well as performances by Thrones-centric bands Daenerys and the Targaryens and The Manimals. Rock on.
With filming on Game of Thrones season 8 running through the end of June, at least, don’t expect many current stars to be added to the lineup (and if they are added, fear for their characters’ safety). Still, never say never. Last year, Carice van Houten (Melisandre) was scheduled to make an appearance but had to pull out, and Rupert Vansittart (“Bronze” Yohn Royce) was in attendance.
Tickets, including those for celebrity autographs, are available here. Haven’t you always wanted to get your picture taken with Shae? Now’s your chance.
