How to get involved with Doctor Who Watch’s March Madness
There’s a number of things that March is known for, but for any sports fan, it’s time for March Madness. But why keep it to sports? How about a Doctor Who March Madness?
This year, Doctor Who Watch will be holding it’s own March Madness. Just like in the real one, there are four different ‘categories’ that start: The Doctors, The Villians, The Old Series Companions, and the New Series Companions.
Doctor Who Watch March Madness
Each day for a week, we’ll do two rounds. For instance, the first round might me Dalek vs. Missy and Silence vs. Cybermen. This will help us go through the rounds faster and get us through all the different characters in March.
The Voting
The Voting will take place on Doctor Who Watch’s Twitter and Facebook, so make sure you’re following at least one of them, if not both of them! After 12 hours of voting from 9 AM to 9 PM, the results will be announced on Twitter and Facebook around 10 pm. The next day, we’ll move on to a different category until all the Round 32 competitions are full.
Keep in contact!
This is absolutely just for fun, so if you lose a match (say Missy vs. Daleks) you’re not out! Keep playing and retweeting and sharing so that all your friends can play! You’ll be seeing a lot of polls for this, but you don’t necessarily have to be there from the start. There are no rules, this is just for fun! So get your bracket, which has been posted on Twitter and will be posted on Facebook, and fill it out!
Send us your filled out papers with #DrWhoWatchMM so we can see your choices before the voting begins tomorrow at 7 AM Eastern Daylight Time, 12 PM GMT. But we want to hear from you all the time!

Just an early disclaimer, it was super hard to only choose 8 for each category! So there’s likely to be some we forgot. Please don’t be too hard on us!
