Day one of Doctor Who March Madness: The results

Doctor Who March Madness began yesterday putting Missy against the Daleks, and The Master against the Ice Warriors. It was a difficult fight, but who prevailed?
For a day, Whovians from all over the world got to take part in the first Doctor Who Watch March Madness. It’s a brilliant process where the famous basketball tournament takes places throughout March gets smashed together in all its geekiness. With FanSided being a huge sports site, connecting the Entertainment side is always a great thing to do!
The other day, we taught you what we were doing and how to play along. And the first day, March 16th, started off with a huge success! You all did great in taking part, making it more exciting to go forward.
But maybe so many people came forward because of who we put up against. Missy versus The Daleks and The Master versus Ice Warriors. I have to say, I was worried we were going to break the time continuum and have a Missy/Master competition at some point. But that will not happen as The Daleks and The Master won!
Missy and the Daleks were relatively close, with the Daleks ending up winning. Missy actually won on Twitter but not on Facebook. But when the votes were added, it didn’t make enough of a difference. On the other hand, The Master crushed the Ice Warriors both on Facebook and on Twitter.
Today
Today we go old school, putting Classic Companions against each other. The first is Susan Foreman, the Doctor’s Granddaughter, and Harry Sullivan, Fourth Doctor’s companion. The second companion poll is Polly Wright (First and Second Doctor’s companion), and Ace, (Seventh Doctor’s companion).
