New Westworld season 2 poster has secret link to teaser video
New Westworld season 2 poster shows a robotic vulture next to a black hat. What could this imagery mean?
HBO just released the newest Westworld Season 2 poster, and it already sets the tone for the upcoming season. No longer are the hosts just playing through their loops as the guests use them for all their sinister desires. With Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and Maeve (Thandie Newton) breaking free of their loops, they are taking arms against the guests. Let the chaos commence.
Today, several of the Westworld actors took to Twitter to do a little viral marketing. Evan Rachel Wood, Jimmi Simpson, Thandie Newtown, Ben Barnes and Shannon Woodward each provided a clue. However, once the mystery was solved, it lead to HBO’s DiscoverWestworld.com site where fans could find the Westworld season 2 poster. Here is what the newest poster looks like:
The glitchy animated poster does an impressive job of foreshadowing what is to come in season 2. The robotic vulture standing next to a black hat with a few drops of blood can only mean one thing: look out humans, the hosts are taking over. Above the imagery is a slogan that reads: Chaos Takes Control. From the looks of this poster, it appears the Delos Corporation will have its hands full as they attempt to quell the angry hosts.
But the virtual hunt doesn’t end with this poster.
