This week in Game of Thrones news, the massive green screen set at Magheramorne Quarry saw lots of action. From the Unsullied to Dothraki warriors, from the Northern army to White Walkers, the set is literally lit. We’ve got a lot to talk about, so let’s jump right in.

First up, Amazon is spending $500 million to bring J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings to its streaming service. Everyone’s trying to be the next Game of Thrones.

The Unsullied marched to Magheramorne Quarry to film scenes for Game of Thrones season 8. Thoughts and prayers to the old gods and the new that Grey Worm doesn’t die.

We’re going back to the dragonpit in season 8, which means Dany and her dragons will most likely pay Cersei a little visit. Get hyped.

An interesting new structure appeared at the King’s Landing set at Titanic Studios, and we know exactly what it’s going to be…we think.
