Doctor Who Watch Madness: Elite 8 results, updated bracket

With the first annual Doctor Who Watch Madness nearing its end, only four characters remain in the battle for glory!

Talk about yet another exciting round of voting! After managing to take down their latest opponents, eight Doctor Who characters remained standing in the battle to become the first ever Doctor Who Watch Madness Champion and the bracket’s quarterfinals proved to be quite interesting!

In our first battle, the No. 1 seeded Dalek faced off against No. 7 seed The Master in a match which saw The Master emerge victorious with 56 percent of the vote. Next, we watched as No. 5 seed Sarah Jane Smith easily bested No. 7 seeded Ace with the round biggest victory margin, securing an impressive 87 percent of the vote.

As Day 2 began, fan-favorite companions Rose Tyler (No. 1 seed) took on Amy Pond (No. 2 seed) in a battle which was back and forth for hours before Amy took the lead and won out with 56 percent of the vote. Finally, in our final match of the round, The Tenth Doctor managed to breeze past the Eleventh Doctor in a victory margin of 66 percent to 34 percent.

And just like that, our bracket is nearly complete! However, there’s still time to get in on the fun by making your selections for the final two rounds of competition. Will our sole No. 1 seed make it to the Championship match? Can The Master bring an end to Sarah Jane Smith’s dominance? Final 4 Voting

As the tournament nears its conclusion, only three polls remain in the battle for the title of the 2018 Doctor Who Watch Madness champion! It all begins this afternoon as the Final 4 battle it out for a place in the Championship match set to unfold this weekend.

Up first we have The Master going head to head with Sarah Jane Smith in a battle set to commence at 1 p.m. ET today (3/29/18) and unfold across an eight-hour window concluding at 9 p.m. ET.  Then, it’s the match which stands to be our most exciting yet as the Tenth Doctor takes on Amy Pond in a poll set to run from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET.
