Viserion’s death is up for the Virgin TV Must See Moment Award at the BAFTAS—Get your votes in!
The award ceremony for the 2018 British Academy Television Craft Awards will be held on April 22, and Game of Thrones season 7 is already up for a couple of prizes: Costume Design (for Michele Clapton) and Product Design (for Deborah Riley and Rob Cameron).
After that, the proper award ceremony for the British Academy Television Awards (the BAFTAS) will be held on May 13, and Game of Thrones stands a chance to take home another statue: the Virgin TV Must See Moment award. This award is decided by fans, so you show your support by heading over to Virgin Media and place your vote.
What moment from Game of Thrones season 7 earned the honor of a nomination? See the full list of nominees below:
Love Island: Stormzy makes a surprise appearance
Game of Thrones: Viserion is killed by the Night King
Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor revealed
One Love Manchester: Ariana Grande sings ‘One Last Time’
- Blue Planet II: Mother pilot whale grieves
- Line of Duty: Huntley’s narrow escape
The nominees are chosen by six critics, but the winner is up to the fans. This is kind of similar to the Radio Times Audience Choice award from back in 2013, which Game of Thrones won. In fact, that’s the only BAFTA the show has ever won. More recently, “Battle of the Bastards” was nominated for the Virgin TV Must See Moment award in 2017, but lost to a bunch of snakes chasing an iguana on Planet Earth II.
Get your votes in while you can, and make sure Viserion didn’t die in vain.
