Emilia Clarke offers fans a chance to tour the Game of Thrones set, records hilarious video

A couple days back, we reported that Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) had become an ambassador for the UK’s Royal College of Nursing. She’s hit the ground running on that, partnering with Omaze to solicit donations in exchange for a very special prize. If you donate at least $10, you and a friend stand a chance to:
- Be flown out to Northern Ireland and put up in a 4-star hotel.
- Get a sneak peek of what it’s like on the top-secret Game of Thrones set in Belfast. You’ll get exclusive access to some behind-the-scenes activities, such as props and costumes.
- Hang out with Emilia Clarke (the Mother of Dragons herself!) over lunch. You can ask her any questions you want, although she’s not required to answer.
The more you donate, the more chances you have to win the grand prize — $10 gets you 100 entries, $25 gets you 250 entries, and so on. Oh my god, the moment when Clarke runs away from the entrance in a panic. “George R.R. Martin is on his way!” She should do more comedy.
And even if the point is the video is that she’s not allowed to show fans anything solid, it’s notable that Clarke is wearing the same white winter coat she wore to rescue Jon and company in “Beyond the Wall.” That makes sense; she is heading to Winterfell, where it’s cold, and it’d be a shame to use that beautiful costume only once. And Kit Harington is wearing the same greyish-brownish tunic he had on when he took time out of filming season 8 to record a birthday message for Steph Curry, although the collar is new.
