The Night King becomes the lord of the dance, Tormund expands his skillset, and other funny stuff

It’s Friday. Time to celebrate, with laughter.

Let’s start with YouTuber steve’s ongoing journey through Game of Thrones, which he’s watching for the first time…completely out of order. I’ll admit that I’ve become invested in this trip through the show, although it’s been a while you could truly call steve a newbie.

Anyway, this week he tackles a big episode: “Battle of the Bastards,” wherein he grapples with the ongoing problems with Westerosi geography.

He also takes in “The Gift,” a less momentous episode from season 5. “That’s like if Abraham Lincoln would marry Robert E. Lee.” I’ll let you discover the context for yourself:

The Sand Snakes are “those three women from that terrible scene in Episode 4.” Sounds about right, although this is probably one of their better scenes.

Okay, I don’t know how I missed this next video when it came out last year, but I did and I’m sorry. There’s no way A&B Graf/x is the first YouTube channel to look at the army of the dead and think of the zombies from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” but they may be the first to have the special effects training to mash the two up this spectacularly. Roll the tape:

I love the way the editor intercuts befuddled looks from Daenerys, Beric, Jon and the like. I mean, I’d stop what I was doing to watch this, too.

This is yet another way to escape the White Walkers. Every little bit counts.
